At SRISA, student health and safety are of utmost importance and are considered when planning for a student’s experience abroad.
We have established safety protocols, a detailed orientation process, emergency response procedures, and staff training in health and safety. SRISA’s safety procedures are communicated to students during the pre-departure orientation, the first days in Florence, as well as in their Orientation Handbook.
Contact Information: All students are REQUIRED and must PROVIDE SRISA with a working cell phone in Italy for calls, texts, and data in case of emergency and facilitation of alerts and updates.
Emergencies while in Florence
Every student enrolled at SRISA has access to an emergency phone number provided at orientation. This number is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and is only for true emergencies. SRISA staff members are available to assist students outside of office hours if students find themselves in need of assistance.
For emergencies during office hours, 9:00 am-5:30 pm Monday through Friday call +39 055-4627374 or +1 210-340-2675 (US office).
