Alexandra Rojas Fuentes
Director
Born in Miami, Florida, Director Alexandra Rojas first came to Florence in 1988 as a study abroad student in the Florida State University program. After graduating in Art History, Rojas moved back to Florence to continue her studies at the Università di Firenze, and like so many others, fell in love with the city. In 2002, Rojas began working at Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) alongside President, Rebecca Olsen. She quickly worked her way up into the role of Associate Director, helping shape and build SRISA into the thriving community it is today.
In 2022, she was promoted to Director overseeing the Florence operations and is spearheading the expansion of SRISA’s offerings and programming.
As a 1st generation American, the opportunity to study abroad was lived as a privilege sparking the life-long desire to make study abroad an integral part of education for all.
