I aim to create an immersive learning environment that marries practical industry knowledge with academic challenges.
After graduating in 2009 with a degree in Fashion Design, Livia Quaresmini worked as a designer for independent fashion labels. She taught Fashion Design and Costume History at CFP Lonati Fashion School in her hometown, Brescia, for four years and in 2012, she moved to Florence, working as a vintage and costume jewelry expert.
In 2016, Quaresmini launched her own brand, Hello, Wonderful!, a slow-fashion boutique in Florence’s historic artisanal district. The brand, driven by a mission to create stylish, eco-conscious pieces designed to be cherished without compromising the planet, adhered to her commitment to sustainability in fashion. Following her core belief on the future of fashion, she completed the “Fashion and Sustainability” certificate program at the University of the Arts London in 2019, followed by a course on “Fashion’s Future” with FASHION REVOLUTION in 2020, further strengthening her knowledge in sustainable fashion practices.
As an educator, Quaresmini shares her extensive industry experience and expertise in apparel and retail with students studying at Lorenzo De’ Medici, The Italian International Institute in the Fashion Design, Marketing and Merchandising department since 2015, and at SRISA, since 2023, where she teaches Fashion Studio and Fashion Illustration I & II.
