Francesco Guazzelli is a professional photographer, instructor of photography, and
graphics technician. His photographic work focuses primarily on the field of Italian
fashion. Since 1996, he has been the official press office photographer for Pitti
Immagine, a Florentine company which organizes some of the most important
fashion shows in the world, such as Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo, and Pitti Filati, and event
photographer for the Stazione Leopolda exhibition center in Florence.
Over the past 25 years, Guazzelli has collaborated with numerous international
fashion magazines, including the Spanish Divos and Nins moda, the German Textil
Wirtschaft and Textil Mitteilungen, the American Robb Report, and the French
Monsieur. His work has included the editorial page for the Italian magazine
Benissimo and stage photography and set design for the theatrical company
“Macchine di Bosco.” From 1986 to 1990, Guazzelli taught photography at Fortman
Studios and from 1991 to 1994 he taught at the Art…E’ School of design, both in
Florence.
Since 1994, Guazzelli has been co-teaching courses in intermediate and advanced
photography at Syracuse University, Florence, and from 2017 to 2025, he taught the
fashion photography course in the same institute.
