Fashion requires inspiration, dedication and passion. As a professor I teach my students to stay curious, motivated and eager to learn from the past, to explore the present and to build their future, giving them the correct instruments to develop a global perspective.
Chiara Ioele has a degree in Foreign Languages and Communication from I.U.L.M. Milan (Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione Milano) and a degree in Marketing Conference Interpreter in English and German from the Interpreter School in Florence. Ioele was hired by the Target Corporation (USA) in 1984 and remained with them until the European operations were closed in 2009. She was also Divisional Merchandise Manager for Bloomingdale’s (USA), responsible for sourcing, buying, marketing, merchandising, new business acquisitions, and much more. She became a teacher in 2009, focusing on courses at various Institutes, including Fashion Buying Concepts, Product Development, Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Retail Management, Fashion Industry, Merchandise Planning and Controlling, and a Fashion Employment Seminar. In January 2019, Ioele began teaching Fashion Buying Concepts and Product Development at SRISA.
