This is an advanced course designed for students who have successfully completed four semesters of
Italian language. The primary goal is to develop students’ oral and written communication skills through
the exploration of contemporary Italian society. Emphasis will be placed on fluency, accuracy, and the
ability to discuss and write about relevant cultural and social topics. Students will engage in structured
debates, oral presentations, and written reflections that promote critical thinking and linguistic
sophistication. A final writing project on a personally meaningful or socially relevant topic will be
required.

Note: For students entering advanced levels, an exam is necessary to place the student in an appropriate level.
