This course is designed to introduce the student to the phases and processes of the design and development of an apparel line based on the need of an international target market. Students will learn the process of product development from design concept and creative planning to production and retail. Items of focus included market research, sourcing, production, and sales. Students will learn the different practices involved in the development of the product, such as trend research, presentation boards, design creation, specification packages, production worksheets in the global marketplace.
