This course offers a comprehensive overview of the city of Florence, exploring it from historical, cultural, and social perspectives. Students will gain insight into everyday life in Florence, both during the day and at night, while developing a deeper understanding of Italian history, society, and traditions. Through experiential learning, the course engages students with local cultural expressions such as food, music, and literature, encouraging direct observation, participation, and interaction with the Florentine community. The course aims to foster meaningful connections between students and the local Florentine community.
