Cultural Program Events

Our cultural program is designed to prepare students for living their day-to-day life in Italy, exploring the Italian culture, and establishing a community in their new home.

From orientation activities to weekly events, students can connect with peers, faculty, and staff through workshops, lectures, gallery exhibitions, and social meetups.

Evening activities may include movie nights or a night at the opera that tie into cultural themes, creating a well-rounded experience. Other engaging events that immerse students in Florence’s artistic and historical tradition include uncovering hidden corners of Florence, visiting bottegas of local craftsmen, or taking in some of the most stunning views.

Here are a few examples of cultural activities that we organize every semester:

  • Observatory Tour: L’Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri
  • Scavenger Hunt: Discovering the Lost Florence
  • Secret Florence: Buchetti tour
  • Queer Hike: Fiesole
  • Theater Visit
  • Opera
  • Workshops
  • Bottega Visits
