Internships provide students with practical applications relevant to their studies while creating global professional relationships. Evolve into an adept collaborative team leader! SRISA offers students a great opportunity to find selective, credit-bearing, unpaid internships in Florence. Internships with local organizations and businesses in Florence are available during the fall and spring semesters.
How Do Internship Credits Work?
Students are enrolled in a 3-credit Internship course and required to complete 120 hours of work during their internship, attend regular meetings with their SRISA internship supervisor, and complete midterm and final assignments to receive course credit for their internship.
Fall/Spring semester internships count as one of the 4-5 courses full time students may register for.
Summer Internships take place for the duration of both Summer A and B, allowing for only 1 additional course each session and the possibility of enrolling in 9 credits total.
How to Apply for an Internship
To apply, submit your application by the deadline that corresponds to your semester/terms at SRISA.
