SRISA offers students a great opportunity to find selective, credit-bearing, unpaid internships in Florence. Internships with local organizations and businesses in Florence are available during the fall and spring semesters.

How Do Internship Credits Work?
Students are enrolled in a 3-credit Internship course and required to complete 120 hours of work during their internship, attend regular meetings with their SRISA internship supervisor, and complete midterm and final assignments to receive course credit for their internship.
How to Apply for Your Internship
To apply, submit the following items by email by the semester enrollment deadline to allow SRISA the appropriate time to search for an internship partner.
- Area of Interest
- Resume/CV
- Letter of Intent describing your desired work experience
- Portfolio and/or link to your website
- Relevant courses taken. This may be listed on your CV or separately
- Level of Italian Language, if any
- Letter of recommendation from a former employer, internship supervisor, or professor
