Hurricane Harvey flood victims join SRISA

Lamar students, Jayme Deville, Naja Garrette and Crystal Tirawan arrived in Florence on September 12th from Texas, nearly two weeks after Fall semester had begun. Beaumount Texas was one of the cities hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey this September.  When the news arrived of the flooding in Texas, SRISA put out a call to Texas schools hit by the hurricane, offering full scholarships for students who were effected by flooding.
