The first exhibition of the new year brings together works by artists working at Santa Reparata International School of Art, people who frequent its spaces in mutual accord alongside their students. As a result of this inspirational environment, everyone has been invited to consider the concept of “habitat”, with the freedom to interpret it according to their own research and language. The result is a choral and heterogeneous exhibition that criss crosses many variations of the idea of habitat: from the natural to the metropolitan landscape, from the community to the private sphere, from the perception of the planet on a global scale to the most intimate and mental abstractions. For the occasion SRISA will also inaugurate the new exhibition space Studio 84, at number 84 Via San Gallo; which joins the historic gallery and the more recent Project Space in via Santa Reparata.
