Literature and Writing

Literature and Writing courses at SRISA invite students to analyze and explore storytelling, poetry, and prose.

Through engaging lectures and in-depth analyses, students develop their creative voice while gaining a deeper understanding of Italy’s cultural and literary contributions to the world.

Course Structure

SRISA Literature and Writing courses combine in-class lectures and on-site lessons. Students will experience classroom sizes that are small and taught in English.

These classes require reading, writing and research. In-class discussions are an important component of every course. Students are encouraged to actively participate in class and are provided with opportunities to engage with content through group projects, presentations, and written assignments that may take students out into the city to explore and research directly in the field. Every course is taught by a professor who is also a professional who is actively researching in their field.
