Students who choose Italian culture courses have the opportunity deep dive into Florentine society through an historical and modern lens by discovering its neighborhoods, traditions, problems, and daily life through food, cooking, markets, crafts, sports, and folkloric events.
Course structure
Classes combine in-class lectures, discussion, and on-site visits and instruction. Most academic courses are reading and writing intensive, requiring a minimum of 6-9 hours of work outside of regular class time.
