Mid-term and final critiques are an important component for all design courses and students are required to attend and participate. Throughout the semester students develop multiple projects, the best of which are presented at the final student show. Some courses work on collaborative projects that are professionally printed and used to create a final collection. Fieldtrips to design fairs such as the Bologna Children’s book fair and visits to museums and private design studios are an important component to the Design program.
