Biography:
Born in Florence, Diletta received a Laurea Specialistica (M.A.) in Business Administration magna cum Laude at the University of Florence in 1997 and following she has specialized in Marketing and International Wine Marketing. In 2019 received a Laurea Specialistica (M.A.) in History of Art magna cum Laude at the University of Florence with a specialization in Museology, Art collectors. She received two scholarships to participate at the Erasmus program in Aachen (Germany) and in Rennes (France) to study Business and Marketing.
She received several trainings in Strategy, Marketing, Family Business, Corporate Finance organized by various institutions such as INSEAD, SDA Bocconi, AIDAF-Italian Family Business, FBN -Family Business Network.
Diletta has been teaching Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing of the arts, History of Art, Hospitality marketing, Wine marketing, Luxury Marketing, Exploring Italian Wine culture, Introduction to Wine Tasting at several American University and international institution in Florence.
She has been travelling to teach courses about Marketing, International Marketing, the culture of Italian wine and food in United States, invited by several Universities and Institutions (New York University, James Madison University, Indiana State University, Eastern Illinois University, The James Beard Foundation), and in Russia (University of Saint Petersburg). She has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alaska, Indiana State University, Eastern Illinois University.
In addition to her academic appointments she is in the board (CDA) of the family company Frescobaldi and consultant for Marketing projects for Italian family firms inside the Wine and Luxury sectors.
Following her interests for Wine and Arts in 2005 she received the Sommelier Diploma and in 2016 she passed the exam of Guida Turistica in Florence.
She has worked as Consultant for a Repositioning Project within the Marketing & Sales Department of the Grand Hotel and Westin Excelsior (Starwood Hotels & Resorts); she has worked as a Marketing Consultant at Roland Berger (Strategy Consultants) in Milan.
As a result of her several international educational experiences and working experiences she is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian.
She is member of ICOM (International Council of Museum) and AIDAF (Italian Association of Family Companies)
She is involved as volunteer for Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana) and in Fundrasing activities with many associations in Florence.
She is member of the Board of Friends of Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Friends of Ermitage in Italy, Friend of Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Centro Associazioni Culturali in Florence.
