Biography:
Chiara Ioele has a degree in Foreign Languages and Communication from I.U.L.M. Milan (LiberaUniversità di Lingue e Comunicazione Milano) and has a degree in Marketing Conference Interpreter in English and German from the Interpreter School in Florence. In 1984 she was hired by Target Corporation in the US and remained with this companyuntil all the European operations were closed in 2009. She was also Divisional Merchandise Manager for Bloomingdale’s (USA). With responsibility in areas such as sourcing, buying, marketing, merchandising, new Business acquisitions and much more. She became a teacher in 2009, teaching the following courses in various Institutes: Fashion Buying Concepts, Product development, Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Retail Management, Fashion Industry, Merchandise Planning and Controlling, Fashion Employment Seminar. Since January 2019 she teaches Fashion Buying Concepts and Product Development at SRISA.
