Course Description:
Introduction to Fashion Buying is a theory and mathematical application of the major elements of retail buying and merchandising. Discussion covers planning and control of inventory, profit analysis, merchandise pricing and purchase negotiation. This course introduces students to the promotion elements of the fashion industry including advertising, public relations, publicity and special event product.
