Is an illustration worth a thousand words? Maybe. As a creative and a problem solver, you as an illustrator should be capable first of all to use the correct approach interpreting the text you are asked to work on, by focusing on its own meanings and then choosing the appropriate image-making methodology. In this voyage exploring the complex world of image making, students will be introduced and assisted to develop and to understand their own personal approach to this complex and exciting design process, producing their own pieces from the preliminary sketches to the final arts for a variety of purposes and productions.
SRISA studio courses will have personal and course materials to be purchased in Florence. Unless otherwise specified there is no need to bring consumable supplies with you. On the first day of class your professor will inform you of materials needed and where to get them in Florence.
