Business Schools and Business News are consumed with the corporate perspective, yet much of The World’s economy (Circa 70% of GDP) is driven by Family controlled businesses. Family Business is described as America’s Economic Engine.
In this course we review Family Business in the context of Italy, outlining why so many of our favorite brands, newest technologies, sustainable practices and best career prospects come from family businesses. We also study the ways in which family businesses fail. Students get the chance to visit ancient and modern family businesses, to interact with the unique business culture and reflect on their own dreams and ambitions.
This course runs through SRISA's partners at ISI.
