Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) is committed to its promise to recognize and nurture an inclusive, welcoming environment that embraces and supports diversity and equal opportunity in its education, services, administration, and creative activity.

One of SRISA’s core objectives is to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all, a space of belonging where students, faculty, and staff are free to grow and learn without judgment and where they feel safe, supported, and valued as part of a community that is open to different abilities, backgrounds, and ideas.

These are the steps SRISA is taking, among others, to to further our commitment to diversity:

  • SRISA is proud to host within our Santa Reparata Campus The Recovery Plan. Since its opening in September 2021, this research center has focused on fostering transnational exchange around Afrodescendent cultures and peoples. The initiative is a rallying of voices designed to facilitate cross-cultural research and dialogue.
  • Throughout the year, SRISA sponsors events that support and engage the LGBTQ+ community, such as the Language and Gender seminar within our Cultural Program.
  • Our staff and faculty include individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing a point of reference for all students to feel connected and heard.
  • We welcome students’ suggestions for events and topics during their time abroad to promote positive interactions and relationships.

SRISA Non-Discrimination Policy

Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, political beliefs, marital, veteran, or disability status in the administration of its admissions or educational policies.
